About Harriet Shur

I was a pioneer in the Hudson Valley.  I have been told that I should write a guide book about the Valley.  I know where to find the best architects, designers, builders, carpenters, electricians, gourmet shops, wine stores, landscape companies, restaurants, and music.  I was a loyal weekender before becoming an full-time resident.  I am passionate about the area and have explored every town and back road.  I enjoy gong out of my way to show my customers all that the Hudson Valley has to offer for both adults and children.  (Perhaps my prior life in the travel business has something to do with that.) 

With over 20 years in the real estate business, I have worked with many happy home buyers and sellers.  I have incredible experience, dedication, and integrity and will help make the process of buying and selling pleasant.  I live in an 1895 farmhouse in Columbia County with beautiful views of the Catskills.  I never take my sunsets for granted  Gardening is my passion.

I served on the Board of the Sanctuary for Families in NYC and have been involved in many organizations including the Hudson Opera House (Hudson Hall,) Habitat for Humanity, and the Columbia Humane Society.
